The same clock on both sides

Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick all keep Atlantic time. They change their clocks on the same Sundays. Clocks go forward at 2 AM on the second Sunday in March and back at 2 AM on the first Sunday in November. Crossing between them changes nothing on the clock.

Hours on this site are local Atlantic time as each venue publishes them. A watch set in Halifax or Charlottetown shows the same numbers in Moncton.

Staying the night in Moncton

In one long building, Casino New Brunswick brings together a casino, a hotel and a centre for entertainment and conventions. Its hotel offers 126 rooms and suites. Guests can check in from 4 PM and must leave their room by 11 AM. Only those aged 19 or older may check in. Children may stay, but they may not enter the 19+ areas.

A room can host as many as two cats or dogs, each weighing no more than 50 lb, at $40 a night. Parking on site costs nothing, and for hotel guests it comes with the room rate. The casino holds its shows at the Molson Canadian Centre, its concert venue. Ticketmaster is the only ticket seller, with the box office open from 90 minutes before showtime. Every show is for all ages unless the event states otherwise.

The slot floor keeps 10 AM to 2 AM hours from Sunday to Thursday, and 10 AM to 3 AM hours on Friday and Saturday. Table games open at 2 PM and keep the same closing times. The casino is not open around the clock. For holiday hours, see the venue's own site.

What the door asks for
