About this guide
Who pays for Next Door
Three Ad-marked links on the home page fund Next Door, and they are its sole income. It is an independent guide that takes no wagers and holds no accounts.

The three paid links
Paid links on Next Door appear on the home page alone. All three of them carry the label Ad. The first sits in the menu. Below the first screen comes a block with the second, and the third sits in another block close to the end.
All three links point to one partner, which is an online casino. This partner pays a commission to the site and can be swapped for another one. The paid links are described here, and the partner is left unnamed.
Inner pages carry no paid links. That covers the four venue pages, for Moncton, Edmundston, Tobique First Nation and Fredericton, and it covers this page as well.
What the partner is not
A private online casino sits behind every paid link. That casino is not ALC.ca, and no part of its running or licensing falls to the province. Atlantic Lottery, the four venues covered here and the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation share no link with it.
ALC.ca player tools, such as Take a Break and its limits, do not apply there. Limits set on ALC.ca do not carry over to the partner's site. The province calls ALC.ca the sole online gambling platform in New Brunswick that is both legal and regulated.
What is never paid
This site takes no money from venues, operators, Atlantic Lottery, the province or help services. No link to the four venues or to help services is paid either.
The guide works out each distance itself, drawing a straight line from one OpenStreetMap map point to another. They are not driving distances, and no page gives travel times. The clocks read the time zones built into the reader's browser. Neither the distances nor the clocks change with who pays the site.
Questions
Do the venues pay to be listed?
No, the venues pay nothing to be listed. Casino New Brunswick, Grey Rock Casino, Tobique Gaming Center and Wolastoq Casino appear because they are the four venues the guide covers. No payment reaches the site from their operators, from Atlantic Lottery or from the province, and venue links are never bought.
Is the online partner named?
No. The partner is not named on any page, and it can change. The copy describes the three links and where they sit instead.
Are there paid links on this page?
This page carries no paid links. The home page is the exception: it holds three links labelled Ad, set in the menu, beneath the opening screen and near its foot.
