The week on Atlantic time
Hours here are Atlantic time, the clock Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island already keep. The slot floor keeps 10 AM to 2 AM hours from Sunday to Thursday, and 10 AM to 3 AM hours on Friday and Saturday. Table games open at 2 PM and close at those same times. The casino is not open around the clock.
Only Friday and Saturday nights see craps, from 7 PM until 2 AM. From 6 PM the High Limit Room is open, and it shuts when the tables do. A private poker room in the Lighthouse part of the casino plays Texas Hold'em. Its nights are Thursday, 6 PM to 2 AM, and Friday and Saturday, 6 PM to 3 AM.
Waiting list: from Thursday to Saturday, ring 506-861-4632 after 5 PM, at most 60 minutes in advance. For holiday hours, see the venue's own site.
At the door
Casino New Brunswick admits guests 19 and older with valid government photo ID. A driver's licence, a passport or a provincial ID card are the examples it names. Those who appear under 30 can be asked to show a second piece of ID.
The venue's pages say nothing specific to visitors from the United States. They list no accepted foreign documents and carry no currency notice. Border-crossing rules are outside this guide. Parking on site is free, and included in the room rate for hotel guests.
At the door
Age: 19+. ID: Valid government photo ID; driver's licence, passport or provincial ID card named.
Beyond the gaming floor
In a single long building, Casino New Brunswick brings together a casino, a hotel and a centre for entertainment and conventions. It opened in May 2010, and Great Canadian Gaming has operated it since it was sold in October 2015.
There are 126 rooms and suites in the hotel. Guests can check in from 4 PM and must leave their room by 11 AM. Only those aged 19 or older may check in. Children may stay but cannot enter the 19+ areas. Each room takes at most two cats or dogs, none over 50 lb, at $40 a night.
The Buffet and the Hub City Pub sit on the casino floor and admit only those 19+, and room service is not offered. Concerts take place at the Molson Canadian Centre. Ticketmaster is the only seller of tickets, and the box office opens its doors 90 minutes before a show starts. Unless a given event states otherwise, shows are open to all ages.
Among the table games the casino names are blackjack, baccarat, craps and roulette. Nine players sit at each cash-game table, and while a hand is live, players may speak English or French only. The casino publishes its pages in French as well as English.
